Purple Goth





This tutorial was written for those who have a working knowledge of psp.
I use paint shop 9, but any version should work.
All of my tutorials are of my own creations any similarity with any other tutorial is purely coincidental.Please do not copy my tutorials please link back to my blog!

SUPPLIES NEEDED

Tube of choice.
I am using artwork by Tony Tzanoukakis. A PTU Artist. You must purchase and obtain a license to use.  You can purchase this tube from here.

Scrapkit PTU Star Gothique  by PinkCandyDesigns  You can purchase this kit at SATC(Scraps And The City) here


Font of choice. I used Twilight New Moon
Filters needed:

eye candy5-impact-gradient glow(not required)used for name

Don't forget to save often.

LET'S GET STARTED

Open new image 700x700.
When you see C/P in the tut that means Copy and Paste.

C/P frame2 re-size80%. Using your magic wand click inside  the frame. Selections-modify-expand by 6. C/P paper of choice or the one I used paper4. Selections-invert-hit delete. C/P close up of tube. Duplicate tube, close duplicated tube. Click on tube layer, hit delete. Move paper and tube to bottom layer. Select none. Click on duplicated tube in your layer palette move to top layer. Erase the bottom part of the tube so that only her head is coming out of the frame.

C/P hearts place on bottom layer move towards up, duplicate flip.

C/P kitty re-size60% move to top layer place bottom left of frame.

C/P glitter re-size120% send to bottom.

C/P ribbon2 mirror place under the kitty.

C/P beads re-size75% place top right of frame.

C/P bow3 re-size50% place at the top of the beads.

C/P candle re-size50% place bottom right of frame.

C/P glass re-size50% place on the left side of the candle move down in layer palette.

C/P bottle re-size40% place on the right side of the candle.

C/P cupcake2 re-size40% place on left side of kitty.

C/P cupcake3 re-size30% place on other side of cupcake.

C/P lolli re-size40% rotate left 25 degrees, sharpen. Move behind the cupcakes layer.

C/P lolli re-size40% place beside first lolli.

C/P lips re-size40% rotate left 35 degrees place upper left of frame.

Crop merged opaque. Merge visible. 

 Re-size is needed, mine didn't need it. Mine is 574x545. 

Add name or saying of choice. 

Add proper copyright info and save as .png

For the banner.
 New image 600x250.

C/P paper4, crop merged opaque.

C/P tube place left side of image. Duplicate, mirror place right beside your original. Change opacity to 70%. 

Grab you rectangle tool. Square width 8 foreground color from tube background none. Draw out square. Convert to raster.

Using you magic wand click inside the frame we just made, selections modify, expand by 6. C/P close up of tube place which part you want showing in frame, selections, invert, hit delete. Selections, select none. Move tube under frame. 

Click on your frame layer. Add drop shadow and merge down. Rotate right 35 degrees. Move to the right of image.

C/P glass re-size50% place on left corner of frame. 

C/P bottle re-size30% place beside glass.

Add any other elements you might want.

Click on top layer. Add new raster layer. Selections, select all, flood fill with color of choice I used #5f3887, modify, contract by 5, hit delete. Leave selected, add new raster layer, flood fill with black, modify, contract by 3, hit delete. Leave selected, add new raster layer flood fill with a lighter color then your first one I used #c08be9, modify, contract by 3, hit delete. Select none. Crop merged opaque. Shift D, to duplicate for the avatar. Merge visible.  Add name or saying of choice. 

Add proper copyright info and save as .png

For the Avatar.  
Crop duplicated banner to 150X150 by clicking on your crop tool and change width and height to 150. Move the  the square over your tube. Crop. Delete all layers except your bg and tube. Add new frames using the same technique we did for the banner.

Crop merged opaque. Merge visible. Add name or initials of  choice. 

Add proper copyright info and save as .png
